The Kimono

My husband and I enjoy going to Hillstone in San Francisco, sometimes we'd go simply to sit at the bar and enjoy our favorite salad with this dressing. Then a friend asked me to recreate this recipe and teach her how to make it at home, this is the Kimono.

Ingredients:

  • 4 Tablespoons creamy peanut butter

  • 1 large clove garlic, chopped

  • 1/3 cup seasoned rice vinegar

  • 1 Tbs. soy sauce

  • 1 Tbs. honey

  • 3 Tbs. water

  • 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper or to taste

  • A splash of toasted sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Blend all vinaigrette ingredients in small cuisinart blender till smooth, you may need to add a little room temperature water to thin it out.
