Oh Yeah, That's a Great Idea! ✨

I want to REMEMBER that! I want to DO that! I want to CAPTURE it - the conversation, the connection, the thought.

I recently stumbled across something called a "Commonplace Book" - a collection of quotations, reflections, and observations that matter to you. It's not quite a journal, more like a treasure box for ideas and moments you want to hold onto.

I know, I know, our phones can capture everything these days. But here's the thing: studies show that writing by hand creates a deeper, more intimate connection to what we're preserving. There's something about pen on paper that makes your thoughts stick differently.

This Thanksgiving, we're having family and friends stay with us for a week - a rare stretch of time for reflection and rest. I'm giving each person a blank book to use as their own Commonplace Book while they're here. A place to capture whatever moves them during our time together and beyond.

What if you tried this too? It doesn’t have to be fancy. This isn’t a journal, a journal is a place to put everything, this is meant for only the good stuff. Just a simple notebook where you jot down the quotes that hit you, a moment that made you smile, a recipe that sparked your interest, an idea you want to return to.

I am thankful for you. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Love Linda💛

Huge kudos to my friend Amanda!

After the last newsletter, she grabbed her four daughters and made potpourri together. They wrote sweet notes on each tag and gave them to teachers and neighbors. I love when inspiration turns into action.

Your Turn!

Has something in my newsletters inspired you to take action? Send me a photo or note, I’d love to feature you in a future newsletter. We’re building a community of people who actually do the things that light them up. ✨
