Brunch for Gut Health

Your gut is alive…feed it like it is.

Inside you, trillions of microorganisms are quietly keeping you well. Fermented foods like kimchi, kefir, and Sauerkraut feed the good bacteria in your gut, crowd out the bad, reduce inflammation, and even help your body produce serotonin. Plus, fermentation breaks food down before it even reaches you. This means your body absorbs more with less effort.

This is how I have been getting a serving of fermented foods in every day.

Ingredients

  • Toast of your choice (I use a dark rye)

  • Cream Cheese

  • Sauerkraut (I use local, House of Ferments)

  • Smoked salmon of your choosing

  1. Toast your bread and smear your cream cheese.

  2. Top with Sauerkraut and salmon.

  3. Enojoy!
