It’s been quiet for a while at the Common Table—why? Because Common Table has morphed into something new: Food for Thought. There’s so much more to food than just food!
What does that mean? Food nourishes us in many ways, and together, let’s explore those nourishing ways. We’ll still be focused on gathering around the table and embracing warm hospitality—breaking it down, making it simple, inspiring, and joyful.
I’ve never been on ‘social’ before, but as people move away from Facebook, I’m starting an online presence just for fun! Scott and I are having a blast shooting short videos with a bit of cooking inspiration.
Also, I’m doing a 30-day Facebook group in April, starting April 1st—April Fools’ Day. No foolin’ around—it’s going to be a fun way to learn together! I’d love for you to join us. 💛 Come join me there!
$55 Vinaigrette Recipe

I named this the $55 Vinaigrette—about 35 years ago, I took a cooking class that cost $55, which was a lot for a class at the time. This vinaigrette is the only thing I took away from it—but it’s a classic, excellent French-style vinaigrette.
I’ve made it a thousand times. Hope you make it and enjoy it too!
